					  Phil was the perfect host. His house is very spacious and grand, and the grounds are beautiful. He made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and was friendly,... read more hospitable and, whilst always willing to offer advice, a friendly hello or a tasty breakfast, in no way imposed himself in a way that made us feel uncomfortable - perfect. He was fantastic with the kids, helped them feed the fish, showed them the tortoises and, in fact, our 2-year old daughter spent some time chatting to Phil in the kitchen at breakfast time when we were all eating and  packing. Id recommend staying at Phil’s place and would definitely return. Thanks for a great stay, Phil!

					  We had an incredible stay here, the pictures don't quite do it justice, it's huge, the place is sumptuously furnished, the garden is gorgeous and has horses in the field... read more next door and tortoises round the back. The breakfast included was incredible, with a huge range including juice and freshly warmed pain-au-chocolat and croissant (as well as a good range of cereals, toast with all sorts of toppings, fruit and yoghurt). Phil was very friendly and helpful, always eager to make sure we had the best stay, down to lending us household items like bluetack to creating personalised leaflets with pictures of our rooms in to take with us. The beds and sheets were really comfy, each one had an ensuite or private bathroom. 

I'm recommending it to all my friends and family, we really loved it. Great value for all that you get with it as well.
